May. 05, 2025

A Missouri Lottery player has claimed a $50,000 Powerball prize on a ticket purchased at Price Chopper, 937 N.E. Woods Chapel Road in Lee’s Summit, for the March 31 drawing.

The winning numbers that night were 12, 41, 44, 52 and 64 with a Powerball number of 25. The player, who matched four of the white-ball numbers, as well as the Powerball number drawn, claimed the prize several weeks later at the Missouri Lottery’s regional office in Kansas City.

So far in 2025, Jackson County players have already won over $28.7 million in prizes playing Missouri Lottery games. Of that amount, over $5.5 million came from Draw Games prizes.

Powerball is a multi-state Draw Game with drawings held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m.

In FY24, players in Jackson County won more than $109.8 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $9.8 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $22 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
