Selective Service Registration Requirement

Anyone who is required to register under the United States Military Selective Service Act must show proof of registration prior to being offered employment with the State of Missouri. (Authority: Section 105.1213, RSMo.)

State Taxes Requirement

State law now requires all employees to pay their state taxes in a timely manner as a condition of employment. Each year the Department of Revenue will determine if any state employees are delinquent in paying their state taxes for the prior tax year. Employees who are delinquent will be notified and given sufficient time to resolve their state tax liability. Employees who fail to meet this requirement will be terminated. District Sales Manager

This is a responsible supervisory position that reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager.  This person is responsible for maintenance and development of sales of lottery products in the areas assigned which includes East Central Missouri (including southern portions of St. Louis City and County) through Southeast Missouri to the state line, working in the field closely with sales team members to support the development and maintenance of an effective, well-trained sales force to aggressively and profitably cover the areas assigned to them; for local interpretation of and compliance with Missouri Lottery policy in the operation of the district; and representation of the Lottery to present and prospective retailers.  Overnight travel and after-hours event attendance is required.

Lottery Customer Service Specialist - Springfield

Individual will be responsible for providing customer service to players, retailers, and/or the general public and will validate and issue payment of lottery prizes; respond to e-mail and mail correspondence, as well as telephone requests and inquiries; sell scratcher and draw game tickets; accurately maintain cash logs and ticket inventory; update and adjust spreadsheets and daily statements.  Individual will also assist with maintaining inventory of office supplies and forms; merchandise lobby area with game information, promotions, and winner information items.  Work closely with regional Customer Care Units to facilitate appointment scheduling and execution; communication with regard to inside and outside activity such as planned events and Loyalty Club promotions; and assist with projects as assigned.

Social Media Engagement Coordinator

Individual will create and schedule posts on all Lottery social media accounts, monitor activity, respond to all inquiries and actively engage with our player base. Person will also be responsible for creating social media contests and giveaways to support marketing initiatives, conduct drawings and fulfill prizes. Duties include analyzing engagement data, identifying trends and reporting on each. This position is part of a team that interviews winners, writes news releases and edits various materials. The individual will also work in tangent with our web coordinator for website and mobile app updates via content management tools.
