A pair of Missouri Lottery players were in disbelief after revealing a top prize on a “$100,000 Money Multiplier” Scratchers ticket they purchased at Circle K, 9035 Gravois Road, in St. Louis.
One of the winners explained he split the purchase of some Scratchers tickets with a friend, and he was surprised to discover one of their tickets was a top-prize winner.
“To tell you the truth, it was hard to believe,” he said.
A member of a motorcycle club that supports veterans, the winner shared his plans to contribute a portion of his winnings to charity.
“I’ll give some to our vets,” he stated.
“$100,000 Money Multiplier” is a $5 Scratchers game that offers prizes ranging from $5 to $100,000. Currently, there are over $3.1 million in unclaimed prizes in the game, including one more top prize of $100,000.
In FY23, players in St. Louis County won more than $207.7 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $20 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $76 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
