A routine pit stop for gas turned into an unexpected win when a player purchased a Show Me Cash ticket at Clayton & Big Bend Service, 7001 Clayton Drive in St. Louis, for the July 18 drawing.
He went to check the ticket a few days later and was surprised to find out his handpicked numbers matched all five numbers drawn, resulting in a $60,000 prize. The winning number combination was 1, 3, 6, 11, and 21.
“I play the same numbers every time.” the winner said, sharing that he plays the Draw Game every day.
Show Me Cash is drawn daily at 8:59 p.m., with jackpots that start at $50,000 and grow until won. Tonight’s jackpot is estimated at $99,000.
In FY22, players in St. Louis County won more than $205.1 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $19.5 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $39 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
