A Missouri Lottery player in Creve Coeur couldn’t contain his excitement when he uncovered a top prize on a “$2,000,000 Sizzling Riches” Scratchers ticket.
“I couldn’t stop yelling and screaming in the car,” the winner laughed.
He shared he had bought several tickets at On The Run, 11109 Olive Blvd. in Creve Coeur, and saved the “$2,000,000 Sizzling Riches” ticket for last.
“My first number was a 7, and I got a $100,000 prize,” he recalled. “I started scratching all the other numbers and was just ecstatic!”
The prizes totaled $2 million – one of the game’s top prizes.
“$2,000,000 Sizzling Riches” is a $20 Scratchers ticket released on July 24. The game currently offers over $42.9 million in unclaimed prizes, including another $2 million top prize and four $100,000 second prizes.
In FY22, players in St. Louis County won more than $205.1 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received over $19.5 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $39 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
