Holiday Weekend Produces Pair of Powerball Wins

Dec. 26, 2023

For a Missouri Lottery player in St. Charles County, this year’s holiday festivities included winning a $1 million Powerball prize. The winning ticket – purchased at On The Run, 4501 Highway K in O’Fallon – matched all five white-ball numbers drawn in the Saturday, Dec. 23, drawing. The winning numbers that night were 9, 14, 17, 18, and 53, with a Powerball of 6.

Across the state, another Missouri Lottery ticket matched four of the five white-ball numbers, as well as the Powerball number drawn on Christmas night to win a $50,000 prize. That ticket was sold at QuikTrip, 8600 Pleasant Valley Road, in Pleasant Valley. The winning numbers were 5, 12, 20, 24 and 29, and the Powerball number was 4.

Prizes of $600 and more can be claimed by making an appointment at any Missouri Lottery office. Draw Games winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. In this case, the $1 million winner has until June 20, and the $50,000 winner has until June 22.

The jackpot for Wednesday’s Powerball drawing is now estimated at $685 million.
