A birthday gift of a “$5,000,000 Fortune” Scratchers ticket resulted in a $50,000 prize for a lucky Missouri Lottery player in Madison County.
“My dad is the one who bought the ticket and he gave it to me,” the winner explained. “It worked out great! It was one heck of a birthday.”
The winning ticket was purchased at Casey’s, 507 Lincoln Drive, in Fredericktown.
“$5,000,000 Fortune” is the newest $50 Scratchers game from the Missouri Lottery. It currently offers over $241.8 in unclaimed prizes, including two top prizes of $5 million, three $1 million prizes and 37 additional $50,000 prizes.
Players can enter their eligible “$5,000,000 Fortune” tickets into their My Lottery® Players Club accounts for a chance to win $500 cash in the next monthly “Scratch Big, Win Big!” drawing.
In FY23, players in Madison County won more than $2.2 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $230,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $560,000 in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
