A set of handpicked numbers led a Missouri Lottery player to win a $60,000 jackpot prize in the May 29 Show Me Cash drawing. He purchased the winning ticket at Discount Smokes & Liquor, 8701 Raytown Road in Raytown, with the winning number combination of 3, 10, 16, 27 and 39.
“I played those numbers the week before and decided to play them again,” the winner explained.
The day after the drawing, he checked the winning numbers and was shocked to see he’d won.
“I was so excited!” he said.
Show Me Cash is drawn daily at 8:59 p.m., with jackpots that start at $50,000 and grow until won. Tonight’s jackpot is estimated at $121,000.
Players who purchased tickets in Jackson County in FY24 won more than $109.8 million in total Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers received more than $9.8 million in commissions and bonuses, and education programs in the county received more than $22 million in appropriated Lottery proceeds.
