While scratching off the “Cash Box Bingo” ticket she purchased at Casey’s, 3500 W. 16th St. in Sedalia, a Missouri Lottery player was shocked to find it contained one of the game’s $55,558 top prizes.
“I was looking at it and I was like, ‘You have got to be kidding me!’” she recounted. “I was in disbelief!”
She quickly got out her phone and called her partner.
“I told her she was full of it!” he joked.
Not wanting to get her hopes up, she ran back into the store and had them double-check the ticket for her.
“I was still in disbelief until they checked it for me,” she said.
“Cash Box Bingo” is a $3 game that began on March 3. Players have already won over $1.8 million in prizes on the ticket – with an additional $9.4 million remaining in unclaimed prizes, including four additional prizes of $55,558.
