“Something told me to get the $30 ticket,” a Missouri Lottery winner recalled of the “$3,000,000 Spectacular” ticket she purchased at K’s Kwik Korner, 1213 Gravois, in St. Clair. It ended up holding one of the game’s top prizes of $3 million.
“Normally, I get the lower-priced ones,” she explained. “I picked that one and I picked right!”
Stunned, she continued on with her day and went into work to share her good news.
“I went to Human Resources and they said, ‘I can’t believe you’re still standing!’” she laughed. “I just held my hands out, and they were shaking like crazy!”
When asked if she had plans for the prize money, she quickly answered, “I’m a couple years past due for retirement.”
So far, players have won over $71.2 million in prizes in the “$3,000,000 Spectacular” Scratchers game. One top prize remains unclaimed.

In FY23, players in Franklin County won more than $31.4 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $2.1 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $5.7 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
