"Monthly Winners" T-Shirt Giveaway

Rules

1. Each person participating in this contest agrees by the act of participation to be bound by these rules and procedures, statutes, administrative rules and procedures of the Missouri Lottery.
2. Entry into the “Monthly Winners T-Shirt Giveaway” is only available during specified periods: Feb. 15 – 16, April 19 – 20, June 21 – 22, Aug. 15 – 16, Oct. 18 – 19 and Dec. 19 – 20.
3. Five winners will be announced on the Lottery’s Facebook page on each of the following draw dates: Feb. 17, April 21, June 23, Aug. 17, Oct. 20 and Dec. 21, 2023.
4. Persons may enter the contest/drawing by doing the following:
   1. Visiting the Lottery’s Facebook page for the “Monthly Winners T-Shirt Giveaway” contest post AND
   2. Accessing the link in the contest post to view the list of monthly winners AND
   3. Commenting a $ prize amount of a Draw Games or Scratchers game on the contest post during the promotional periods. Game name and/or winning location is not required.
5. An approved entry/comment must include a prize amount won on a Draw Games or Scratchers game that appears in the monthly winners list.
6. Any comment that include a winner’s name or any personally identifiable information will be hidden and ineligible for entry into this promotion.
7. Persons can enter up to 10 times per contest drawing. More than 10 entries in a single drawing will result in disqualification. 
8. Persons must be at least 18 years old to enter and win.  Winners may be required to furnish proof of age.
9. Winners will be determined based on random drawings. The chances of winning are dependent upon the number of entries (comments) received for each drawing.
10. The prize is one XL MO Lottery T-Shirt.
11. Five winners and three alternates will be drawn at random on designated draw dates. Winners will be announced before 5 p.m. on each draw date.
12. In the event that the Lottery is unable to conduct a drawing before 5 p.m. on the scheduled draw date, an announcement for a rescheduled drawing date will be made.
13. Winner(s) will be notified by a Facebook post and with a response to their comment on the original Facebook comment contest post. 
14. Winner(s) will be instructed to fill out a Missouri Lottery prize claim form to verify their name, address, and date of birth. Follow-up arrangements may be made by email or phone call to coordinate delivery of prize.
15. Once notified via email, winners will have one week to claim their prize. If the winner does not claim their prize within that period, the next alternate drawn will be awarded the prize.
16. The winners’ names may be posted online through our social media outlets including Facebook, Twitter, our website and any other source deemed necessary by the Missouri Lottery. 
17. The Missouri Lottery reserves the right to publish social media winners’ names and hometowns for publicity purposes without any claim for broadcasting, internet, print, other right or further compensation.
18. The Missouri Lottery, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if any prize cannot be awarded as described due to unavailability or for any other reason. Additional restrictions and conditions specific to any particular prize will be disclosed to winners upon prize notification.
19. The Missouri Lottery makes no implied warranties of any kind with respect to the safety, appearance or performance of any prize offered.
20. In the event of a dispute arising out of these rules and procedures, a player’s sole remedy is limited to entry into another promotional drawing or event with prizes of similar value.
21. Per Missouri Lottery Policy 2.13, employees are not eligible to play or participate in any Missouri Lottery promotion. This includes the immediate family of the Lottery employee living in the same household.
22. This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Participants agree to a complete release of Facebook.
