Powerball is about to get even MORE powerful!
The following enhancements are coming to Powerball on Aug. 22, 2021:
Monday Drawings

 

Starting Sunday, Aug. 22, players will be able to play Powerball THREE nights a week!

Powerball drawings will now be held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 9:59 p.m.


Powerball tickets are available for sale daily, except during the draw break starting at 8:59 p.m. until 10 p.m.

Following the Aug. 21 drawing, Powerball sales will be unavailable in preparation for the launch of the game's new features on the morning of Aug. 22.

 

Double Play

 

For an extra $1, players can add Double Play® to their Powerball ticket to automatically play their same numbers in a second drawing held after the Powerball drawing, starting Aug. 22.
