A Missouri Lottery Player in Howard County won one of eight $100,000 top prizes on a “Mystery Prize Crossword” Scratchers ticket he purchased at Caseys, 102 N. Missouri St., in New Franklin.

“I was shocked! I never win!” the winner laughed, as he shared plans to “use the money smartly” to pay off some debt.

So far, “Mystery Prize Crossword” players have won more than $17.4 million in prizes since the $5 ticket was released. Over $5.2 million in prizes are still unclaimed, including two additional top prizes.

During FY26, players in Howard County won more than $1 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $106,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $85,600 in Lottery proceeds went to educational programs in the county.
