A Missouri Lottery player has claimed a $93,500 jackpot prize after he purchased one of two winning tickets for the Sept. 19 Show Me Cash drawing.

The Quick Pick ticket he purchased at Pina Wine & Spirits, 815 N.E. Lakewood Blvd. in Lee’s Summit, matched all five winning numbers - 5, 8, 23, 27 and 37. He splits the $187,000 jackpot evenly with another player who matched all five Show Me Cash numbers that night. The other winning ticket was sold at Apple Market, 11501 E. 63rd St. in Raytown, and that prize has yet to be claimed.

The Lee’s Summit winner shared his family is happy for him - even if it took a little convincing before they believed he really won.

“My daughter didn’t believe me at first until I showed her the ticket,” the winner laughed.

During FY26, players in Jackson County won more than $94.5 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $9.3 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $19.6 million in Lottery proceeds went to educational programs in the county.
