A Missouri Lottery player won a $50,000 prize on a “Millionaire Riches” Scratchers ticket she purchased at Xpress Mart 6, 1411 W. Monroe St., in Mexico. However, she didn’t immediately know the full amount of her win, and the news led to an entertaining reaction.

“I thought I had won $500, and I asked the clerk if he could cash it,” explained the winner. “When I saw the “$50,000 on the screen, I started jumping up and down and even jumped up on the counter! I yelled to my husband, ’Babe, we just won $50,000!’”

The winner shared she plans to purchase a car with some of her winnings.

So far, “Millionaire Riches” players have won more than $37.9 million in prizes. Over $216.6 million in prizes remain unclaimed, including 12 top tier prizes of $1 million and 32 additional $50,000 prizes.

During FY25 players in Audrain County won more than $4.3 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $418,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $805,800 in Lottery proceeds went to educational programs in the county.
