Scratchers Player Wins $100,000 in Jackson County

Jul 16, 2026

A Missouri Lottery winner said it was the shiny look of a “$2,000,000 Bankroll” Scratchers game that ultimately led to a $100,000 prize on the ticket she purchased at BP, 8025 Hickman Mills Drive, in Kansas City. The win is the first $100,000 prize to be claimed in the $20 game.

While the winner shared she purchased the ticket because of its looks, it was the game’s “Bank” symbol that proved to be the real winner, allowing her to win all 25 prizes on the ticket.

“I was shocked, but I was able to keep it quiet until I got out to my car to call my husband,” she laughed.

Currently, there are over $47.5 million in prizes remaining unclaimed, including both top prizes of $2 million and three additional $100,000 prizes.

During FY25 players in Jackson County won more than $96.8 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $8.9 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $31.6 million in Lottery proceeds went to educational programs in the county.
