A Missouri Lottery player in Johnson County won a $50,000 Powerball prize in the June 24 drawing.

“My knees started shaking when I found out I won!” the winner recalled. “I still can’t believe it!”

The winning ticket was purchased at Murphy USA, 301A Cooper Blvd., in Warrensburg. It matched four of the five white-ball numbers along with the Powerball number drawn. The winning numbers on June 24 were 13, 14, 16, 21 and 38, and the Powerball number was 14.

During FY25 players in Johnson County won more than $5 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $514,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $10.6 million in Lottery proceeds went to educational programs in the county.
