A Missouri Lottery player has claimed a $50,000 prize on a “$250 Million Extravaganza” Scratchers ticket she purchased at The Junction, 17263 Highway 67 S., in Neelyville.

The winner said she received an enthusiastic response when she showed the clerk the winning ticket before leaving the store.

“I showed it to the girl at the counter, and she was jumping up and down and came running around the counter to give me a big hug!” the winner laughed.

So far, “$250 Million Extravaganza” players have won more than $86.8 million in prizes playing the $50 game. Currently, there are over $180.3 million in unclaimed prizes remaining, including two $5 million top prizes, two $1 million prizes and 36 additional $50,000 prizes. 

During FY25 players in Butler County won more than $8 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $787,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $2 million in Lottery proceeds went to educational programs in the county.
