A Missouri Lottery player in Jackson County won a $118,000 Show Me Cash jackpot prize in the May 30 drawing. He purchased the winning ticket at Saver Food, 1616 E. 63rd St. in Kansas City, matching all five numbers drawn that night – 2, 24, 31, 32 and 33.

“I haven’t told a soul!” he chuckled. “I’m gonna wait until it hits the bank account, then pay off a few bills and give some to charity.”

Show Me Cash drawings are held daily at 8:59 p.m., with jackpots that start at $50,000 and grow until won. Tonight’s jackpot is estimated at $116,000.

During FY25 players in Jackson County won more than $96.8 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $8.9 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $31.6 million in Lottery proceeds went to educational programs in the county.
