A Missouri Lottery Club Keno® player won a $55,400 prize on a ticket purchased at Casey’s, 338 E. Highway 50, in Tipton.

“That’s my favorite game,” the winner shared. “It’s all I ever play. I love Keno.”

His 8-Spot ticket matched eight of the numbers drawn during a May 29 drawing to win a $10,000 base prize – which continued to grow from there because Club Keno also adds an additional Progressive jackpot prize to any top-prize wins on 6-, 7- or 8-Spot games. Adding the Progressive jackpot of $45,400, the final prize amount came to $55,400.

“It was spur of the moment that I changed some numbers around,” he recalled. “I’ve hit the 6-Spot and 7-Spot (with Progressive jackpot) but never won anything that big!”

When asked about his plans for the winnings, he laughed and nodded to his wife.

“She’s already got it spent,” he laughed.

In FY25, players in Moniteau County won more than $2.6 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $220,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $1.4 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
