A Missouri Lottery player plans to travel to Greece after winning $3 million on a “Super 7s” Scratchers game. She purchased the lucky ticket at Gas Mart VII, 2099 State Route 21, in Imperial.

“I normally stop on the way home from work and purchase a couple of Scratchers tickets,” she explained. “I thought it (the ticket) was really pretty. I don’t typically buy $30 tickets, but I won $1,000 on it a couple months ago.”

Deciding it was worth a try, it didn’t take long for her to realize this ticket was different from the rest.

“All the numbers are winners on it. I was just shocked,” she shared. “The first prize I scratched said $100,000. I said, ‘That can’t be right!’”

The prizes on her ticket totaled $3 million – the top prize available in the “Super 7s” game.

When asked how she plans to spend her winnings, she was ready with her answer.

“I’ve always wanted to go to Greece,” she said. “It’s been on my bucket list for a long time, so that is going to happen!”

In FY25, Jefferson County players won more than $40.4 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $3.6 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $19.1 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
