A Missouri Lottery player couldn’t believe his eyes after purchasing a “Money” Scratchers ticket at Richmond Mart, 37592 Highway 10, in Richmond.

“I’d been playing that ticket for a while,” he recalled. “I saw what I thought was a $100,000 prize and thought, ‘Well, maybe that said $10,000.’ I checked it again and said, ‘That didn’t say $1 million, did it?’ So I checked a third time, and I realized it was $100,000!”

His ticket matched one number, 20, that revealed a $100,000 prize.

“I haven’t told too many people, just one of my buddies,” he shared.

To date, players have won more than $10.8 million in prizes playing the $20 “Money" game. Two additional $100,000 prizes remain unclaimed, as well as two top prizes of $2 million.

In FY25, Ray County players won more than $2.7 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $265,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $1 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
