A stop at On the Run, 13553 Riverport Drive in Maryland Heights, resulted in a Missouri Lottery player winning $50,000 on a “$250 Million Extravaganza” Scratchers ticket.

“It’s kind of a unique story,” shared the winner. “I stopped on my way home and saw they had two $50 tickets. I didn’t know which one to buy, so I decided to flip a coin.”

As he began scratching the chosen ticket, he was shocked to see all four bonus boxes contained a winning “Money Roll” symbol.  It didn’t stop there, though. The more spots he uncovered, the more the prizes added up.

“It was quite wild!” he chuckled. “I wonder, what if it had went the other way?”

To date, “$250 Million Extravaganza” players have won over $82.9 million in prizes. There are more than $184.2 million in prizes currently unclaimed, including two $5 million prizes, two $1 million prizes and 37 additional $50,000 prizes.

During FY25, players in St. Louis County won more than $195.9 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $18.8 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $47.9 million in Lottery proceeds went to educational programs in the county.
