A Missouri Lottery player in Livingston County was stunned after he uncovered a $77,777 top prize on a “Sapphire 7s” Scratchers ticket purchased at Casey’s, 610 W. Old Highway 36, in Chillicothe.

“I won $77 on this ticket before. Nothing like this!” he laughed. “I thought I was dreaming.”

He now plans to pay off his truck and put some of his winnings into savings.

In FY25, Livingston County players won more than $1.6 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $170,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $1.2 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
