A Missouri Lottery player in Maplewood uncovered a $50,000 prize on a “$1,000 Frenzy” Scratchers ticket purchased at QuikTrip, 2633 S. Big Bend Blvd.

“I scratched that first prize, and my heart was beating so fast,” the winner recalled. “It said $5,000!”

After uncovering the entire ticket, his prizes totaled $50,000.

“I had to check it and check it again. It was really surprising.”

The “$1,000 Frenzy” Scratchers game was released Dec. 29 and offers over $22.2 million in unclaimed prizes, including three additional $50,000 prizes and one $1 million top prize.

In FY25, St. Louis County players won more than $195.9 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $18.8 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $47.9 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
