Keno Player Wins $187,500 in Jackson County

May 12, 2026

A Missouri Lottery player claimed the largest Club Keno prize so far this year during a visit to the Lottery’s Kansas City regional office on April 29. The winner won a total of $187,500 by adding the Double Bulls-Eye option to the 10-Spot ticket he purchased at QuikTrip, 16001 E. Highway 24 in Independence, on March 12.

“I hadn’t played for years. I never believed I would ever win anything like this!” he laughed. “I scanned the ticket, but it didn’t tell me how much I won, so I Googled it!”

The winning ticket matched nine of the winning numbers drawn. By playing a $3 ticket with the Double Bulls-Eye, he increased the base prize of $15,000 to $187,500.

The winner explained he had hand picked the numbers, and this was the first time he had played that particular combination.

During FY25 players in Jackson County won more than $96.8 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $8.9 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $31.6 million in Lottery proceeds went to educational programs in the county.
