A Missouri Lottery player was in disbelief when she discovered the “Cash Box Bingo” Scratchers ticket she had been gifted held one of the game’s top prizes of $55,558.

“I didn’t think it was real!” she giggled. “I had my family members look at it to make sure!”

The lucky ticket had been purchased at 7-Eleven, 8901 Wornall Road, in Kansas City.

After claiming her prize at the Lottery’s regional office in Kansas City on April 22, she shared, “I still can’t believe it! I didn’t think you could win that much on a ($3 Scratchers) ticket!” 

During FY25 players in Jackson County won more than $96.8 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $8.9 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $31.6 million in Lottery proceeds went to educational programs in the county.
