A Missouri Lottery player in Wentzville couldn’t wait to tell her husband she’d uncovered a $100,000 top prize on a “Loteria” Scratchers ticket.

“I’m an avid player and only play the Scratchers tickets,” she shared, noting that her husband had teased her about it. “I’ve won a couple $1,000 prizes here and there.”

Her latest win comes from a ticket purchased at Schnuck’s Market, 1960 Wentzville Parkway, in Wentzville.

“I scratched it and when I scanned it, it said ‘Claim at Lottery office.’ I thought, ‘Oh, this is a $1,000 ticket,’” she recalled. “Then I looked closer. I called my husband and said, ‘I think I won $100,000!’”

To date, players have won more than $3.7 million in prizes since ”Loteria” was released in February. Two additional $100,000 prizes remain unclaimed, along with 19 prizes of $10,000.

In FY25, St. Charles players won more than $72.5 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $6.1 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $13.7 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
