A Missouri Lottery player uncovered a $50,000 top prize on a “Cosmic Crossword” Scratchers ticket purchased at Sinclair, 922 E. Linwood Blvd., in Kansas City. The win marks the eighth time a prize of $50,000 or more has been won on a ticket purchased in Jackson County so far this year.

During that same time period, Jackson County players have won more than $28.2 million in total Missouri Lottery prizes.

Since the $3 “Cosmic Crossword” game was released in December, players have won over $4.1 million. More than $9.2 million in prizes remain unclaimed, including five additional $50,000 prizes. 

During FY25, players in Jackson County won more than $96.8 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $8.9 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $31.6 million in Lottery proceeds went to educational programs in the county.
