A Missouri Lottery player in Springfield knows exactly what she’s doing with her winnings after claiming a top prize in the “$100,000 Taxes Paid” Scratchers game.

“It’s all going to a college fund for the kids. We’re grateful that we can put it towards the kids,” she explained.

The ticket she purchased at Price Cutter Plus, 3260 E. Battlefield St. in Springfield, held one of five top prizes offered in the “$100,000 Taxes Paid” Scratchers game. To date, players have won more than $3.1 million in prizes since the game was released Jan. 26. Three additional top prizes remain unclaimed.

In FY25, Greene County players won more than $41.7 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $4 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $15.9 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
