For a Missouri Lottery player in Valley Park, playing a set of hand-picked numbers resulted in a $216,000 Show Me Cash prize in the Feb. 20 drawing.

 “They are meaningful numbers to me,” the winner said. “Birthdays, anniversaries, that kind of thing.”

She purchased the ticket at On the Run, 1266 Doughtery Ferry in Valley Park, and checked the winning numbers a few days after the drawing. 

 “It was crazy,” she said. “I was just sitting in my chair, and I clicked on the numbers and I thought, ‘These are really my numbers!’” 

Excited, she went downstairs to tell her husband the news.

“He said, ‘You gotta be kidding me!’” she recounted. “He couldn’t believe it either!”

She plans to use some of the money to help out her family and her community. 

The winning numbers that night were 6, 10, 21, 25 and 30. 

Show Me Cash drawings are held daily at 9:59 p.m., with jackpots that start at $50,000 and continue to grow until won. Tonight’s estimated jackpot is $391,000.

In FY25, players in St. Louis County won more than $195.9 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $18.8 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $47.9 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
