While checking the official Missouri Lottery app to see the latest Scratchers tickets available, the “$1,000,000 Money Blast” game caught the eye of a Lottery player in Jefferson County. The result? He decided to buy a few tickets at Wallis Petroleum, 1119 Gravois Road in Fenton, and then got to hand his wife a ticket that would reveal a $100,000 prize.

“When I got home, I split the tickets with my wife to scratch,” the winner shared. “She was in the living room, and I heard her start to scream, ‘I got one! I think we won $100,000!’”

To his surprise, she had uncovered the first of four $100,000 prizes available in the $10 game.

“I can’t wait to share the news with my son-in-law,” the winner added. “He always says, ‘No one ever wins.’ Well, now we can say, ‘Yes, they do!”

So far, “$1,000,000 Money Blast” Scratchers players have won over $2.3 million in prizes since the game was released at the end of February. More than $31.4 million in prizes remain, including both $1 million top prizes.

In FY25, players in Jefferson County won more than $40.4 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $3.6 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $19.1 million Lottery proceeds went to educational programs in the county.
