As a Missouri Lottery player scratched the bonus boxes at the top of her “500X” Scratchers ticket, she was surprised to see all three boxes held matching symbols.

“I was like, ‘OK, maybe I won $5,000,’” the winner shared. “Then I started scratching the bottom, and they were all worth $1,000 with a few $5,000!”

When she finished adding up all the prize amounts, the ticket she’d purchased at Quick Stop 1, 2995 Highway 412 in Cardwell, held a total of $50,000 in prizes.

“I was shaking so bad! I couldn’t believe it!” she added.

 So far, “500X” Scratchers players have won more than $211.7 million in prizes on the $50 game. Over $45.8 million in prizes remain unclaimed, including one top prize of $5 million and five additional $50,000 prizes.

In FY25, players in Dunklin County won more than $8.3 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $776,500 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $858,000 in Lottery proceeds went to educational programs in the county.
