A Missouri Lottery player in St. Robert has claimed the first top prize in the “Cosmic Crossword” Scratchers game.  

The winning ticket was purchased at Walmart, 185 St. Robert Blvd. in St. Robert, and the prize was later claimed at the Missouri Lottery’s Springfield regional office.  

Since “Cosmic Crossword” sales began on Dec. 10, players have won over $2.4 million in prizes playing the $3 game. Over $10.9 million remain in unclaimed prizes, including eight additional top prizes of $50,000 and 23 prizes of $5,000. 

Players who purchased tickets in Pulaski County last fiscal year won more than $8.9 million in total Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers received more than $886,000 in commissions and bonuses, and education programs in the county received more than $4 million in appropriated Lottery proceeds.
