While looking at Scratchers tickets at Lucky’s Eagle Stop, 205 E. Morgan St. in Boonville, a Missouri Lottery player suddenly got a good feeling about a “500X” ticket. 

“Something just told me to try that one,” the winner said. 

Once she purchased the game, she scratched it off and instantly knew something big was happening.

“The first one I scratched said ‘$1,000’ and it just kept going from there!” she said. 

When all was said and done, she realized she had uncovered one of the game’s $50,000 prizes. 

"I’ve never ever won something like that!” she added. “I’m very blessed!”  

Since “500X” sales began, players have won over $207.5 million in prizes playing the $50 game. Over $50.1 million remain in unclaimed prizes, including one top prize of $5 million and eight additional prizes of $50,000. 

Players who purchased tickets in Cooper County last fiscal year won more than $2.9 million in total Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers received more than $289,000 in commissions and bonuses, and education programs in the county received more than $698,000 in appropriated Lottery proceeds.
