Jan 15, 2026

A stop at Reeves Boomland #2, 6399 Highway 77 in Benton, ended in a $50,000 Powerball prize for one lucky Missouri Lottery player.

“I stopped there and just got a Quick Pick ticket out of the vending machine,” the winner said, after claiming her prize at the Lottery’s St. Louis regional office.

She said she checked her numbers a few days after the drawing and was shocked to see her ticket matched four out of five white-ball numbers, as well as the Powerball number.

“I was very surprised and excited!” she added.

The winning numbers for the Dec. 17 drawning were 25, 33, 53, 62 and 66 with the Powerball number 17.

Powerball is a multi-state Draw Game with drawning held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. Saturday’s jackpot is estimated at $179 million.

In FY25, players in Scott County won more than $10.1 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $985,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $2.8 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
