Missouri Lottery App Displays $50,000 Powerball Prize in O’Fallon

Jan 08, 2026

When a St. Charles County couple pulled up the Missouri Lottery app to check their Powerball ticket against the winning numbers from the Dec. 20 drawing, they were surprised to see number after number line up. The ticket they purchased at QuikTrip, 4750 Highway K in O’Fallon, had matched four of the five white-ball numbers as well as the Powerball number to win a $50,000 prize.

“I think we checked it a 100 times,” giggled one of the winners. “We just couldn’t believe it!”

While scanning the ticket the next morning, they knew they had won something big when the screen instructed them to contact the Missouri Lottery.

“It doesn’t show that when you win something small like $4!” she laughed.

The winning numbers for the Dec. 20 drawning were 4, 5, 28, 52 and 69 with the Powerball number 20.

Powerball is a multi-state Draw Game with drawning held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. Saturday’s jackpot is estimated at $124 million.

In FY25, players in St. Charles County won more than $72.5 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $6.1 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $13.7 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
