A Missouri Lottery player in Jefferson County won the first $300,000 top prize in the “Starry Nights” Scratchers game. The winning ticket was purchased at Circle K, 10201 Business 21, in Hillsboro. 

Since “Starry Nights” sales began on Sept. 29, players have won over $13.7 million in prizes playing the $20 game. Over $9.9 million remain in unclaimed prizes, including one more top prize of $300,000.

Players who purchased tickets in Jefferson County last fiscal year won more than $40.4 million in total Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers received more than $3.6 million in commissions and bonuses, and education programs in the county received more than $19.1 million in appropriated Lottery proceeds.
