A Missouri Lottery player uncovered a $50,000 prize on a “Crossword Plus” ticket purchased at Baumer's Texaco, 6107 Highway O, in Ash Grove.

The winner claimed the prize at the Missouri Lottery’s Springfield regional office on July 8.

So far, “Crossword Plus” players have won over $9.3 million in prizes playing the $3 game, with over $6.3 million remaining in unclaimed prizes. There are currently four more top prizes of $50,000 still unclaimed in the game.

Players who purchased tickets in Lawrence County in FY24 won more than $4.9 million in total Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers received more than $503,000 in commissions and bonuses, and education programs in the county received more than $1 million in appropriated Lottery proceeds.
