A “Big Cash Riches” Scratchers ticket purchased at Express Mart, 999 W. Gannon Dr., in Festus resulted in a big win for one lucky Missouri Lottery player.

The winner claimed the $100,000 top prize at the Lottery’s St. Louis Regional Office on Dec. 17. He is the ninth Jefferson County winner to win over $100,000 this year.

“Big Cash Riches” players have won more than $4.3 million since the $5 game was released in November. Over $16.1 million unclaimed prizes remain, including five additional $100,000 prizes and six $20,000 prizes.

In FY24, players in Jefferson County won more than $40.6 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $3.9 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $2.7 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
