A “Holiday Ice” Scratchers ticket purchased on Dec. 25 held a $50,000 prize for one lucky Missouri Lottery player in Clark County. According to the winner, it was his largest win to date.

“I play the Lottery a lot and won ‘big’ a few times,” the winner chuckled. “I’m happy to have won.”

He shared plans to use the Christmas win to pay off his truck and tractor.

The winning ticket was purchased at Pilot Travel Centers, 102 Fore Drive, in Wayland.

Through Jan. 7, players can enter the “Second Chance of a Lifetime: Holiday Adventure” promotion for a chance to win a taxes-paid, customized trip of a lifetime, valued at $40,000, or cash prizes of $1,000. Promotion entries are gained for eligible Draw Games or holiday-themed Scratchers tickets entered into players’ My Lottery® Players Club accounts. Weekly drawings will also award a total of 700 prizes valued at $300. 

In FY24, players in Clark County won more than $1.3 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $150,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $580,000 in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
