A Powerball ticket purchased at Dirt Cheap, 1495 Kisker Road in St. Charles, led to a $150,000 win for a lucky Missouri Lottery player who added the Power Play option to her ticket for the Oct. 9 drawing.

Her ticket matched four of the five white-ball numbers drawn, as well as the Powerball number, resulting in a $50,000 prize. Since she added the $1 Power Play feature to her play, her prize was instantly tripled when the Power Play number drawn was 3.

The winning numbers that night were 16, 34, 46, 55 and 67 with a Powerball number of 14.

Powerball is a multi-state Draw Game with drawings held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. The Power Play feature lets players win up to $2 million by multiplying their prizes of $4 to $50,000 by a multiplier draw before each drawing.  

In FY23, players in St. Charles County won more than $63.3 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $6.4 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $6.3 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
