A Missouri Lottery player in Kansas City is the latest to win a $100,000 prize on a “Big Riches” Scratchers ticket. The winning ticket was purchased at Price Chopper, 9717 N. Ash Ave., in Kansas City.

The prize was claimed at the Lottery’s Kansas City regional office on Oct. 16. It was the second of four $100,000 prizes claimed so far in the $30 game. 

To date, players have won over $89.1 million playing “Big Riches.” Over $55 million remain in unclaimed prizes, including a top prize of $3 million.

In FY23, players in Clay County won more than $27.9 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $3 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $12.6 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
