Two visitors to The Kountry Korner Store, 2795 Highway 142 in Moody, purchased a Powerball ticket with the Power Play option for the Oct. 9 drawing. A $1 add-on option, Power Play multiplies prize amounts on non-jackpot wins.

Their ticket matched four of the five white-ball numbers drawn, plus the Powerball, to win a base prize of $50,000. The prize was instantly tripled when the Power Play number drawn was 3.

The winning numbers drawn on Oct. 9 were: 16, 34, 46, 55 and 67, with a Powerball of 14.

Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is estimated at $125 million. If the jackpot is hit, the “Jackpot Reset” promotion will be activated – giving players who buy three Powerball plays on a single ticket a free $2 Powerball ticket.

Players who purchased tickets in Howell County in FY23 won more than $6.8 million in total Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers in the county received more than $682,000 in commissions and bonuses, and education programs received more than $1.9 million in appropriated Lottery proceeds.
