A Missouri Lottery player won a $100,000 Scratchers prize on a “Super Cash Bonanza” ticket he purchased at Casey’s, 1894 N. Highway CC, in Nixa.

“I had been playing that ticket for a while, and I just decided to slide on into the gas station that morning,” the player said.

When he began to scratch off the ticket, he knew right away he had won a prize.

“The first area I scratched off said ‘$5,000’ and that made me pause for a second,” he said. “I just kept going, and they were all winners!”

He shared that his wife was shocked by the win.

“She was like, ‘Oh, my God. Are you serious? Have you scanned that?’” he said.

He said they plan to use some of the money for a couple of vacations they have planned.

So far, “Super Cash Bonanza” players have won over $23.6 million in prizes playing the $20 game. Over $27.2 million remain in unclaimed prizes, including a top prize of $2 million and another $100,000 prize.

In FY23, players in Christian County won more than $10.2 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $1 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $2.7 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
