A Powerball ticket purchased at Casey’s, 403 N. Missouri St. in Potosi, led to a $50,000 win for a lucky Missouri Lottery player.

His ticket matched four of the five white-ball numbers drawn, as well as the Powerball number, in the Sept. 16 drawing. The winning numbers that night were 8, 11, 19, 24 and 46, with a Powerball number of 5.

Missouri Lottery players have won 49 $50,000 Powerball base prizes in 2023 thus far.

Powerball is a $2 per play multi-state Draw Game with drawings held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. All current and past winning numbers can be found at MOLottery.com. Tonight’s jackpot is estimated to be $1.2 billion, the third-highest jackpot ever offered in the game’s history.
