$50,000 Powerball Prize Won in Columbia

To date, eight prizes of $50,000 or more have been won on Missouri Lottery tickets sold in Columbia this year. The latest is a Powerball ticket purchased at Alta Convenience (Petro-Mart), 601 Scott Blvd., in Columbia. 

The ticket matched four of the five white-ball numbers drawn, plus the Powerball, in the Sept. 4 drawing. The winning numbers were 1, 26, 32, 46 and 51, with a Powerball number of 13. 

The prize was claimed at Missouri Lottery headquarters on Sept. 29.

A Show Me Cash jackpot-winning ticket worth $135,000 was sold at Break Time, 2709 E. Broadway (May 2023)

A “Bingo Twist” ticket worth $55,558 was sold at Midwest Petroleum, 126 S. Providence Road (May 2023)

A “Millionaire Blowout” ticket worth $50,000 was sold at Petro-Mart, 5481 E. St. Charles Road (March 2023)

A Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million was sold at Alta Convenience (Petro-Mart), 5612 E. St. Charles Road (February 2023)

A “Millionaire Blowout” ticket worth $50,000 was sold at Hy-Vee, 3100 W. Broadway (February 2023)

A “Millionaire Blowout” ticket worth $50,000 was sold at Eagle Stop, 1704 N. Providence Road (January 2023)

Tonight’s jackpot is $1.2 billion– the third largest Powerball jackpot this year – and has an estimated cash value of $551.7 million. 

Players who purchased tickets in Boone County in FY23 won more than $26.1 million in total Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers in the county received more than $2.4 million in commissions and bonuses, and education programs received more than $56.2 million in appropriated Lottery proceeds.
