A Missouri Lottery player who won a $100,000 top prize on a “50X Lucky” Scratchers ticket claimed his prize at the Lottery’s Kansas City regional office on Aug. 21.

The winning ticket was purchased at Lakeside Mini Mart, 5701 S.W. Lakefront Lane, in St. Joseph.

It’s the fourth large Scratchers prize won on tickets purchased in St. Joseph this year. Additional winning tickets and their selling locations include:
?    A “Triple Cherry Crossword” ticket worth $100,000 was sold at Speedy Convenience at 2728 Messanie St.
?    A “Silver & Gold” ticket worth $50,000 was sold at Garfield 66 at 1029 Garfield Ave.
?    A “Triple Cherry Crossword” ticket worth $100,000 was sold at King Hill Mart & Liquor at 4702 King Hill Ave.

In FY22, players in Buchanan County won more than $26 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $1.6 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $3.7 million in Lottery proceeds went to educational programs in the county.
