“Well, I have all five of them!” a Show Me Cash player in Carthage exclaimed after a family member read off the winning numbers from the July 4 drawing.

The winning number combination was 1, 10, 21, 28 and 35.

Her ticket – which she purchased at Mazoo Liquor, 2506 Grand Ave., in Carthage – was the sole ticket to match all five numbers drawn, winning a $114,000 jackpot prize.

“I didn’t even know how much the jackpot was!” the winner laughed.

She explained she doesn’t play lottery games often, but she prefers to play Show Me Cash when she does.

“I like Show Me Cash because I understand the game. It’s simple,” she said.

The winner plans to put her winnings toward retirement.

“It took a while for it all to sink in,” she shared.

Show Me Cash is drawn daily at 8:59 p.m., with jackpots that start at $50,000 and grow until won. Tonight’s jackpot is estimated at $99,000.

In FY22, players in Jasper County won more than $16.4 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $1.6 million in commissions and bonuses, and more than $9.8 million in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
