A Missouri Lottery player in St. Louis added the Power Play option to their Powerball ticket and turned a $50,000 prize into a $100,000 win.

The ticket –purchased at Gas Mart, 4036 Bayless Ave., for the July 15 drawing – matched four of the white-ball numbers drawn, as well as the Powerball, to win the base prize of $50,000. The prize was instantly doubled to $100,000 when the Power Play number drawn was 2.

The winning numbers drawn on July 15 were: 2, 9, 43, 55 and 57, with a Powerball of 18.

Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is estimated at $60 million, with a $31.1 million cash value option. If the jackpot is hit, the “Jackpot Reset” promotion will be activated – giving players who buy three Powerball plays on a single ticket a free $2 Powerball ticket.

Players who purchased tickets in St. Louis County in FY22 won more than $205.1 million in total Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers in the county received more than $19.5 million in commissions and bonuses, and education programs received more than $39 million in appropriated Lottery proceeds.
